Popcorn Season is officially underway
Reminder that Popcorn Season is officially underway, if you haven't received your popcorn flyer please contact our Popcorn Chairperson Donna Werner at wernerd@ptd.net so she can get the flyer sent to you. Popcorn sales benefit both Minis and the Scout directly. We are looking for each family to attempt to sell $250 worth of popcorn. That magic number can potentially pay off a Cub Scout's registration for the year!!! As an added incentive you get to throw a pie at your Cubmaster. Keep that in mind as you tell your friends family and neighbors about popcorn.
Parade is on the way
Yes it is that time again, our theme this year is Alaskan Wildlife and the Artic. We are going to be sending out a set up date for the float really soon so please stay posted. We will
need volunteers to help us get the parade float decorated. The more that help the better the float will be.
Pack 209 has an adventure at Akelaland summer camp!
Our scouts had a wonderful time this year at camp. Our scouts did some amazing things such as Hiking at Night, Starting camp fires, singing songs, shooting bb's and arrow at the archery range, swimming, fishing and even learning how to tie up camp counselors with their rope tying skills. It was beautiful for most of the week, we played harmonica and drums at night and played a couple of water sports. It was a wonderful time and our scouts are looking forward to next year's adventure!!!
